Good afternoon ，ladies and gentlemen!

I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my ic isOpportunities and Challenges.

First, I would like to know, what does your desty offer you? Happess,wisdom, a strong body or somethg else. If I had asked this question resident Nixon, he would probably had said,”Our desty offers not the cup ofdespair, but the chalice of opportunity.”

Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to Cha is the2015 Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time.How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway les, public-exercisgequipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots ofmodern gyms which are under construction.

Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by theOlympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more peoplewill get to know Cha. I’m sure the mysterious Chese culture will attractthem strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment,for it is gag the attention of foreign vestors and the awareness ofenvironmental protection is beg strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games givea unique opportunity to spire and educate a new generation of Chese youthwith the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so manyadvances, could you even image us losg the holdg rights?

I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and Cha. But I thk everyoneshould use some time to thk of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have anyspecial meang to you?”

For us, I mean the Chese youth, 2015 Olympic Games is a tremendous gift.Because what we are waitg for is to do somethg significant as repayg thelove given to us .The society is just like a ship, and our dreams the captais wavg his hand and sayg ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charmghis voice is, but we have never heard of it our true life. This morng,however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games wavg its hand. Afterchewg, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the OlympicGames. And me is to be a “forter” ----that is someone who will give fortto others.

At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation will go well, andeveryone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities andgive a big smile to challenges.

Good afternoon everybody! It's my honor to speak here and I am very glad toshare my ic with all of you. Today I'd like to talk about “my dream”. I donot just have one dream, fact, I have three. They are: a healthy life, ahappy family and to travel my great country.

I have always admired the long healthy life my grandparents have. They areolder than 80 years of age and they are still alive and kickg! How do they dothat!? My grandparents plant vegetables and grow rice themselves; even theirold age they still make food for themselves! I guess that is why they can remahealthy. More importantly they rema humble and never ask for too much fromlife. Perhaps that makes them mon, but they live a happy life. My grandmotheronce told me this:” I do not want to live long, only long enough for some grandchildren to be runng around my house”. I want to live a long, healthy andhappy life just as they have.

Sce my graduation from primary school, until now, every time on mybirthday I make the same wish. I wish my parents will not fight anymore. I amnot plag that they gave me a bad childhood, they just fight so much! I amunhappy but that does not mean they do not love me. They do! They love me withall their heart. I love my parents also; I want them to live a happy life aswell.

I want to travel this great country of ours. I want to see the beauty ofour country. I want to see the miracles that made this country great! I want togo from the east to west, from the north all the way down to the south! I have adream, that one day I can travel and see my country with my family and friends!If that is not possible, seeg my country on my own is good enough also. If Ican fulfill all three of my dreams life, then God can take me away. I wouldbe happy, and l would have lived a full and prosperous life.

Sometimes,I thk my father was a philosopher,sometimes thk he is aactivists,always set an example for his child ,do what a father should do.He isalways workg hard to feed large family, he is always considerate to fivehis naughty children,moreover he filial piety to the old person,to repayparents' brought up. In a word, he always so good.

Of course he's not a iron man,he also has a fragile, but he never loseself,and perseverance.What's more, when I meet with some troubles and want togive up, he always encourage me.I still remember what he told me "perseveranceoveres almost everythg.When you fall, perseverance tells you get up.Whenyou are defeated,perseverance tells you to try aga .When you feel likequittg, perseverance doesn't let you".

Nowadays, I am an adults,and as a college student,I always unavoidablydependg on my father, I often call to my father to ask some questions,meanwhile I also want to know how are they recently I start my college lifefollowed with my fathers edification.Because of my dear father,I know howimportant to be myself.I have to be true to myself, because the only importantthg life is what you do with the time on spend here earth.So I'll alwaysbe optimistic and happy the followg time.Also,as my father told me,just beperseverance to do everythg. So that I can do anythg I wish to create myfuture!
